Tutor Factory is proud to announce that we are now taking bookings for our new incubator sessions!
These are offered to KS3 AND KS4 (GCSE) students, twice monthly.
Why enrol onto this course?
One key theme that runs through most students' mind, is the fear of having to discuss and analyse something new. Whether it's a fictional piece of text or non fiction, we teach them the efficiency of transferring their well sharpened skills, across the whole syllabus.
Your child will have the opportunity to develop and master both their analytical and writing skills, in an immersive environment. This course will enable your child to uncover their true potential through the exploration of great texts and plays - Shakespeare's classics, An Inspector Calls, Blood Brothers, A Christmas Carol, The Bell Jar, Pride and Prejudice - to name but a few. Moreover, they will be undertaking great debates through thought provoking nonfiction texts; ergo establishing their approach and style towards delivering stimulating arguments towards any given topic. This will prepare them for both the spoken component of the English GCSE examination and paper 2 of the English language examination.
What we offer
We will focus on examining characters, themes and contexts from novels and plays that your child will be studying at school. We will support them in improving their analytical skills, so that their essay writing has cohesion, is cohesive and methodical in its approach, as well as ensuring it encompasses everything that is necessary to achieve the top band grades in their school exams and their GCSE's.
Another important component of the English syllabus, which we will be focusing on through the course, is the artistry of being able to produce pieces of creative writing - both descriptive and narrative, using images as a stimulus. In addition to this, students will also be writing essays that argue a specific opinion and view point in a strong and thought provoking style.

The sessions will not only hone into your child's skills and allow them to grow, but we will empower them with the knowledge and skills to feel unconstrained and limitless towards their learning and achievements, as a whole.
